Here are some updates
Anderson family: Jessica's date moved to the 14th of November, the
same date that her oldest son J'daruious has set. Aujayla and
Jaymarian are doing well, they still haven't been to mutual or scouts
yet though. Their ride this week never picked them up!
We also saw a lot of less actives this week.
Ponderizing scripture: Mosiah 3:19 "For the natural man is an enemy to
God, and has been from the fall of Adam, and will be, forever and
ever, unless he yields to the enticings of the Holy Spirit, and
putteth off the natural man and becometh a saint through the atonement
of Christ the Lord, and becometh as a child, submissive, meek, humble,
patient, full of love, willing to submit to all things which the Lord
seeth fit to inflict upon him, even as a child doth submit to his
father."
It is only through Christ's atonement that we have any hope of putting
off the natural man and becoming our best selves. It is funny that as
we grow up we are striving to become as we were when we were little
kids! Learning how to consecrate ourselves to the Lord is our purpose
as we serve his purpose.
Lastly, you know you have the best mom when you had a rough day and
you get home to a package with Count Chocula in it! :)
